Daddy then picked the strong favourite in a five horse race to bank a winner, then missed out on the next race
The girls then picked the next three based on the look of the horses as they headed out to the stalls. A place in the 234th running of the Derby was followed by a win at decent odds. The last race was one too far!
In 2012 it was photos in the newspapers. In 2013 it was Channel 4 and no less than BAFTA award winning presenter Clare Balding. She was on the top deck of the bus with 3 generations of Davidson’s; there would have been three generations of Derby winners had Dawn Approach won.
